Job Title: Marketing Manager

Join the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) team as a Marketing Manager and play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing and advertising strategies to enhance brand presence and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage multichannel marketing strategies and operational plans to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Manage NSBE's marketing portal and lead project management for marketing projects.
  • Manage and lead marketing efforts for MarComm Zones for Annual Convention and conferences.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and campaigns.
  • Analyze and report on marketing metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Enhance the website to be visually compelling and deliver an engaging user experience.
  • Create and/or oversee the creation of marketing materials, including website content, banners, email campaigns, and promotional items.
  • Support the Communications Manager in managing the organization's social media presence.
  • Represent the marketing team in meetings with current and potential corporate partners.
  • Work closely with other Marketing & Communications team members to generate new ideas and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to implement new platforms.
  • Responsible for the vendor RFP process, selection, and management.
  • Implement systems and processes to make marketing efforts more seamless.
  • Collaborate and report to Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Provide training on marketing and digital platforms.
  • Manage department contracts.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure marketing efforts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepare post-event reports and analyses.
  • Assign duties and monitor the quality of work; ensure staff adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and government regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in marketing, sales, growth strategies, advertising, and/or digital marketing.
  • Strong social media savvy.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and project management software.
  • Familiarity with marketing solutions, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hubspot, and Feathr, is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and committed to moving the organization and mission forward.
  • Comfort and confidence working under pressure of deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • High level of creativity and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work with, analyze, and understand data.
