Clinical Education Coordinator

The Confidential Assistant - Education is a vital member of the Education Department at AHMC Healthcare. This role requires a high level of organization, time management, and customer service skills to perform a wide range of duties with moderate difficulty. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering employee and applicant questions, receiving and transferring phone calls, and maintaining confidentiality of all employee records and information. Additionally, the Confidential Assistant - Education will assist in the coordination of academic affiliations, facilitate and maintain background check paperwork for instructors and students, and participate on various hospital-wide committees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer employee and applicant questions, providing accurate and timely information
• Receive and transfer phone calls, ensuring seamless communication
• Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information
• Assist in the coordination of academic affiliations, ensuring smooth operations
• Facilitate and maintain background check paperwork for instructors and students
• Participate on various hospital-wide committees, contributing to the development of innovative systems and processes
• Develop and implement efficient systems for maximizing productivity and efficiency
• Collaborate with the Education Department team to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
• Two years of college/university or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Two years of office experience in clinical education in an acute care facility preferred
• Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general office administration
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload independently, meet deadlines, and complete tasks despite interruptions
• Demonstrates careful attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
