Job Description

The Residential Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of residents in our properties. This position requires a strong understanding of community dynamics and the ability to build trust with residents, ownership, and property management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and intervention to residents, including lease education and referrals to social services.
  • Develop and implement on-site programs, such as health and safety sessions, educational programs, and job training initiatives.
  • Build relationships with community groups and neighborhood-based services to provide residents with access to resources and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to address resident issues and maintain a healthy housing community.
  • Develop and track outcomes related to resident services and goals.
  • Communicate regularly with residents about on-site and community events through printed notices and flyers.
  • Establish linkages with community groups and neighborhood-based services to provide residents with access to resources and opportunities.
  • Participate in grant writing and implement grant programs as needed.
  • Conduct regular building tours and health and safety inspections to ensure the physical environment is maintained at optimum levels.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience working with residents or in a community setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Services, or High School Diploma with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous residential services support and experience within a corporate environment.
  • High degree of confidentiality and judgment in dealing with sensitive information.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Program development and high-level professionalism are a plus.
