Campus Support Coordinator, Residential Safety and Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and management experience in business and/or leadership roles in federal, state, or private organization settings. We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of the practices and techniques of safety, security, and fire protection, as well as the ability to act quickly and intelligently in emergency situations.



Responsibilities of the Campus Support Coordinator will include obtaining residential coverage levels, monitoring campus grounds, and completing daily logs of issues. The successful candidate will also provide on-the-spot corrections for noted deficiencies, assist staff with programmatic issues, and provide direct hands-on individual care to all consumers as needed.



We offer a competitive salary of $45,000.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including 15 days annual leave accrual, 15 days sick leave, and 13 paid holidays. Our state employees also enjoy generous health and dental insurance, retirement and savings plan options, and paid vacation and sick leave.



Please note that employment is contingent upon our receipt of required pre-employment screenings, including medical screening, state and federal background checks, and SC Department of Motor Vehicles driving record check.




  1. Obtain residential coverage levels from each Residential Administrator to ensure adequate staffing is maintained.
  2. Patrool and monitor campus grounds, check for fires, prowlers, vandalism, or other unusual occurrences.
  3. Complete daily log of issues and send communication to appropriate management staff for follow-up on noted deficiencies.
  4. Provide on-the-spot corrections for noted deficiencies, assist staff with programmatic issues, and provide direct hands-on individual care to all consumers as needed.
  5. Make routine decisions to maintain normal operations and notify the Facility Administrator/designee as needed.
