About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Coordinate internal and external clinic communications, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange
- Accurately collect and distribute patient records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Collect co-payments from patients in a professional and respectful manner
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling, records management, and data entry
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with a focus on customer service and communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other software applications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
