Job Description

Contact Discovery Services LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Evidence Technician to join our team. As an Evidence Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our team with evidence handling, documentation, and testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Evidence Handling: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of incoming and outgoing evidence shipments.
  • Support Project Management: Collaborate with project management and team members to complete complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Develop and Refine Procedures: Assist in documenting, testing, and refining procedures to ensure evidence handling requirements are met.
  • Chain of Custody Management: Manage all chain of custody best practices associated with the rules of evidence.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on work product prior to delivery to the team.
  • Additional Duties: Complete additional office duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully in both verbal and written formats to team members and internal departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills.
  • Team Player: Must be an energetic self-starter who can work within a team environment but also independently as the situation requires.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient using Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
  • EDRM Knowledge: Understanding of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM).
  • Technical Tools: Understanding of (Robo/Rich) copy tools, BAT (PowerShell) scripting, and Active Directory.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with scripting, programming/coding, database languages (SQL, VB, HTML, Access).
Compensation:

$50,000 - $60,000
