Qualifications

  • Flexibility and willingness to work within business hours
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare
  • Child Development Associate or a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will embrace the philosophy of Cadence Education while working collaboratively with fellow educators to create a positive learning environment for all children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting and sharing significant milestones in each child's day with parents
  • Collaborating with other educators to implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curricula
  • Respecting and observing children's interests
  • Ensuring safety and intervening when necessary
  • Enhancing children's play experiences with language, toys, and activities
  • Modeling appropriate social behavior and expectations
  • Planning a balanced daily schedule that includes a variety of activities
