We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Client Service Specialist to join our team at MAI Wealth Management, Inc. As a key member of our Investment Management Group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing client accounts, and mentoring new team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Account Management
    • Provide top-notch client service to high net worth individuals with complex account structures.
    • Manage client accounts, including opening and closing accounts, preparing transfer forms, and maintaining master account lists.
    • Ensure all client files and documentation adhere to MAI standards.
  • Training and Mentoring
    • Coach, train, and mentor new Client Service team members on various client requests and decisions.
    • Develop and implement best practices across the Client Service team.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Partner with the Wealth/Investment Managers to ensure complex billing specifications are set up for client accounts.
    • Process and submit quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to clients via their preferred method.
    • Work with Operations to set up client accounts or make needed changes to keep accounts in good order.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Generate client correspondence to assist with account set up, client needs, or queries.
    • Prepare and process client wire transfers.
    • Reconcile statements to reports and update manual reporting entries.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead projects as needed and work with interdepartmental teams.
    • Expedite and prioritize requests from clients and team members for best execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of client service experience in the financial industry, including brokerage and/or banking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with high net worth individuals with complex account structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to on-board and train new Client Service team members.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial analytical skills and knowledge of account structures and investments.
  • CRM experience.

  • Tax, Banking, and Investment knowledge, including account structures.
