Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Industry Legal Support Specialist. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $63,037 - $77,500 annually, with potential yearly incentive pay up to 9% of base salary (results may vary from year to year).

Job Description
In this role, you will provide administrative support to attorneys in a high-volume litigation environment. Responsibilities include calendaring and scheduling, processing mail and electronic filing, and preparing deposition notices and motions. You will also interact with clients, courts, and counsel throughout the litigation process on behalf of the attorney.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, prioritizing urgent and non-urgent tasks, multitasking, and excellent communication skills. You should have prior experience in a similar role, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury, and knowledge of legal and medical terminology, local and state rules regarding pleadings and pre-trial matters, deadlines, and filing requirements. Additionally, you should be proficient in e-filing and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Case Management system, and Document Storage system.
