The HR Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing Hopebridge's HRIS applications and information systems. This position focuses on optimizing the HRIS to elevate the employee experience and improve the functionality of HR systems. The role also involves maintaining a dependable HR database and providing analytical insights on HR metrics to aid in business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and ensure the effective operation of the HRIS and related systems, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Offer technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and HR personnel to identify system enhancements and recommend effective solutions.
  • Administer permissions, access, personalization, and similar settings for HRIS users.
  • Develop custom functions and documentation, including automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
  • Compile or assist in gathering complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior management and HR staff.
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Stay informed about trends and advancements in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Manage and prioritize requests for process improvements, current system enhancements, and the development or acquisition of new software applications.
  • Lead HRIS system implementations, including ongoing testing and configuration, security administration, report generation, system optimization post-launch, and coordination of cross-functional dependencies among HR, Benefits, IT, Budget, and Payroll.
Required Competencies
  • In-depth understanding of information systems, with a strong technical grasp of at least one commercial HRIS product, preferably Paylocity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and technical support abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a HR-related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, with a strong preference for Paylocity.
  • 1-3 years of experience in resolving employee relations issues.
  • Experience with comprehensive systems implementation.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time role, typically requiring Monday through Friday in-office attendance. Occasional evening and weekend work may be necessary based on job responsibilities.
