SBA Business Development Officer

About the Role
The FFB Bank is seeking an experienced SBA Business Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Government Guaranteed Lending Department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of SBA loan transactions within the 7(A), 504, and USDA B&I loan programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to identify business opportunities and increase loan volume
• Conduct financial analysis and underwriting to evaluate loan feasibility and risk
• Collaborate with loan processors and underwriters to ensure timely loan closings and customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to maintain expertise in Government Guaranteed Lending
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, business, accounting) or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of success in SBA lending with a minimum of $12MM in annual loan volume
• Advanced knowledge of financial statement and tax return analysis, as well as SBA credit and underwriting procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors
