Responsibilities:- Operate a company vehicle to transport donations to our warehouse and thrift stores, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of delivery manifests, trip logs, and other relevant documents.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with loading and unloading of donations, using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in logistics and customer service.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read maps and plan routes using GPS technology.
- Medical card required, depending on city and state regulations.
- Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job.
