The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Assistant - Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of donations to our warehouse and thrift stores.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport donations to our warehouse and thrift stores, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of delivery manifests, trip logs, and other relevant documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and internal stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of donations, using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in logistics and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read maps and plan routes using GPS technology.
  • Medical card required, depending on city and state regulations.
  • Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job.
