Job Description

At The Boeing Company, we are committed to innovation and collaboration to make the world a better place. Our team is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Liaison Engineer to support the review of AH-64 Apache tail rotor blade manufacturing processes.

The Apache tail rotor blade is a high-performance aerodynamic, lightweight, hybrid metallic and composite structure. This is a full-time on-site engineering position based at the supplier of Apache tail rotor blades, Ducommun, in Coxsackie, NY. Additional intermittent support will be needed in Mesa, AZ, which will be supported through a mix of virtual and travel.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including experienced or senior engineers. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for quality issues
  • Review tooling condition and effective operation
  • Assist in review of non-conforming product
  • Review and enhance manufacturing planning
  • Spot check production technician training/skill level
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering in a manufacturing support role
  • 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical or Materials engineering degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical or materials engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in liaison engineering preferred
