">This GIS Programmer/Analyst position plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining GIS mapping applications, data development, and workflow management in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional programming and GIS skills, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse groups of people.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in GIS programming, application development, and data management;">
- Extensive experience with GIS applications, tools, and resources, including geodatabase configuration and management, geoprocessing, and location-based services;">
- Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and associated code used to access, analyze, and manage data stored in multiple systems and databases;">
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to diverse levels of management and customers;">
- Working knowledge of biology or natural resource management principles, practices, and methods;">
- Bachelor's degree in geographic information systems/geography, wildlife or fisheries biology and/or management, natural resource management, or a similar academic field.">
