Job Title: Hydraulic Technician

SunSource Hydraulic Service & Repair Centers is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing various pumps, motors, and power units, including testing, trouble-shooting, repair, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose problems and provide recommendations for repairs.
  • Investigate hydraulic or pneumatic systems that are not working properly using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
  • Inspect parts and components, determining if they are re-workable, and write up a complete service report.
Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • 1 to 3 years of fluid power service and repair experience.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Able to stand 95 to 100% of the workday.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • 2-year fluid power associate's degree and certification.
  • 3-5 years of fluid power experience.
