Field Service Technician

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join its team at our RMS Rentals location.

This role involves being the service repair contact for customers in your geographic area, with the possibility of being dispatched to other areas as needed.

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of quick response time to customers and prioritizing repairs with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Class A driver's license.
  • Troubleshoot engine and driveline problems.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Perform high-quality work on customer job sites.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Technical or trade school preferred.
  • Five (5) years of mechanical experience.
  • Possess own tooling to perform work.
  • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
  • Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
  • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Lift bulky objects.

Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
