As a Membership Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding service experience to both new visitors and existing members. This position also involves generating revenue through membership sales. It is essential for team members to grasp the FitLab value proposition, membership options, operational procedures, sales processes, and onboarding protocols for first-time visitors. All employees will be held to the performance and behavioral standards outlined in the FitLab Handbook and the Operations Training Manual.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate the sale of memberships and promotional offers; effectively qualify leads and understand client purchasing preferences.
  • Oversee general studio operations and management during your shift.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, ensuring high levels of customer interaction and hospitality.
  • Actively manage sales leads at various stages; engage with clients via text and email, and assist with class bookings.
  • Ensure proper check-in for individuals attending classes; comply with company policies regarding cancellations, waitlists, and partnerships.
  • Educate first-time visitors about class offerings and participation criteria.
  • Stay informed about all promotions and campaigns; effectively communicate features and benefits to enhance member knowledge.
  • Execute daily studio operations, including answering phones, responding to messages, greeting guests, enrolling members, managing laundry, addressing locker issues, maintaining a tidy reception area, restocking supplies, managing inventory, processing payments, handling waivers, and taking member photos.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for a minimum of 4-5 shifts per week.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, special events, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a history of effectively resolving complaints.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from recognized organizations.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Experience with Clubready or Marian Tek.
  • A background check will be conducted on all final candidates upon receipt of the signed offer letter and release form.
