Job Summary

Thompson Engineering is currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Mobile, AL.

This role is responsible for creating process documentation, analyzing data, and interpreting results to help solve problems and answer questions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring performance.
  • Facilitate process workflow modeling to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities, and clearly defined end-to-end use cases.
  • Identify issues and risks. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
  • Prepare incident details for investigation/incident reviews.
  • Track major incident management process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas.
  • Extract reports and provide an analysis of data for review.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university bachelor's degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong technical proficiency, analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
