Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Education Improvement Coach to join our team at the Mobile County Public School System. In this role, you will work closely with school staff to identify and implement strategies for improving student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. School Support: Provide coaching and technical assistance to school administrators and teachers to improve instructional practices and student achievement.
  2. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform school improvement decisions and monitor progress towards goals.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, district personnel, and community partners to develop and implement effective school improvement plans.
  4. Professional Development: Design and deliver professional development opportunities for school staff on topics such as data-driven instruction, differentiated instruction, and leadership skills.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Assist schools in developing and implementing continuous improvement plans that focus on academic achievement, teacher quality, and school climate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience; administrative experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and increasing teacher effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with school staff, parents, and community partners.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The Mobile County Public School System offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
