About the Role

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing W2 payroll related functions, including taxation forms and benefits. This role requires maintaining employee data with confidentiality and handling payroll questions.

About the Position

  • Coordinate with the Payroll Manager to manage and process employee pay.
  • Analyze employee timesheets for accuracy and collect, calculate, and enter data into the payroll system.
  • Maintain payroll data in software and review for errors.
  • Meet deadlines in stressful situations and prepare reports as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
  • At least 2-3 years of payroll experience is necessary.
  • Familiarity with UKG and Paychex payroll systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of compliance standards and knowledge of laws and regulations for payroll.
  • Proficient in computer skills and technology.
  • Accurate and meticulous in data entry.
  • Good organization and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Location and Compensation

This Payroll Specialist position is located in Mobile, Alabama, and offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
