Job Summary

The Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations will lead the development and implementation of standardized clinical and regulatory workflows across all ambulatory sites. This role will drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the achievement of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ambulatory-wide clinical workflows, including critical regulatory and clinical protocols.
  • Ensure all ambulatory sites adhere to standardized workflows to promote consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to identify, design, and roll out new workflows that support organizational goals.
  • Assess and improve operational performance across all Ambulatory Services based on anticipated needs.
  • Effectively provide direction and policy interpretation to direct reports in managing their respective areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure operations, quality initiatives, and service delivery are efficiently delivered across the Stanford Medicine Children's Health with a focus on maintaining flow, ensuring patient satisfaction, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Ten (10) years of progressive management experience in hospital administration or clinic administration, authority, and responsibility in similar size organizations, with similar scope and complexity of LPCH.
  • Experience in multiple organizations with some exposure working with multi-specialty physician practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric experience.
