JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Campus Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a secure and safe environment for the educational institution's staff, students, facilities, and assets. This is achieved through regular monitoring and patrol of school premises and surrounding areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducts regular patrols of all properties associated with the educational institution.
  • Serves as a witness in court proceedings related to violations of school regulations or applicable laws.
  • Ensures that only authorized personnel are present on school grounds.
  • Collaborates with local law enforcement agencies and provides assistance as required.
  • Engages with the Director or principal regarding safety concerns.
  • Participates in safety meetings and other relevant gatherings as requested by the Director.
  • Addresses safety-related issues at the educational facilities, available seven days a week.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary to maintain the safety and security of all educational environments.
  • Completes other assigned tasks as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Proven ability to effectively complete assigned tasks.
  • Competence in preparing detailed reports.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a security-related role.
