Job Title: Club Membership Manager

Job Summary:

The Club Membership Manager is a key role in our retail locations, responsible for overseeing and driving the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB credit program and CLUB customer experience culture throughout the store. This position requires a strong leader who can inspire others to deliver an outstanding CLUB Customer Service Experience every time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service Experience standards by incorporating CLUB exclusive benefits into conversations.
  • Actively listen to customers to address questions and concerns regarding the CLUB program.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the CLUB customer experience.
  • Serve as the primary CLUB liaison to ensure the retail leadership team and all outfitters are knowledgeable regarding current CLUB promotions and programs available to our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute successful onsite and offsite events representative of the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB brand standards.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with the General Manager, fellow managers, and outfitters to gain credibility and influence.
  • Motivate and inspire outfitters by giving them the tools and training to be confident in their approach leading to success with referrals.
  • Lead by example, serve as a role model and coach for peers and outfitters.
  • Facilitate CLUB 101 training with all new Outfitters during the onboarding process, creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
  • Support Outfitter recognition by implementing the Members Only program and creating store level CLUB recognition and engagement initiatives to build a CLUB culture.
  • Regularly recognize others' contributions and successes in getting CLUB referrals.
  • Create a strategy around recruiting and retaining great talent.
  • Promote a positive outfitter centric culture focused on developing self and others.
  • Design and execute strategies to help meet key CLUB metrics.
  • Review and analyze CLUB reporting daily for key performance metrics.
  • Partner with General Manger to develop and lead execution of corrective action plan for improving key metrics being missed.
  • Execute all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB operational and compliance programs.
  • Coordinate and improve execution of all department functions to further drive performance and compliance.
  • Serve as the leader for the CLUB instant issuance process including training others on all inventory management procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 to 4+ years Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of other financial, legal, and technical information.
  • Ability to read and analyze certain reports. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, associates, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.
  • Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, associates, customers and with the Corporate Staff.
  • Demonstrated use of Team concept of Management
Work Environment:

Independent Judgement:

Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within the general scope of established operational goals and plans.

Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
