Job Overview

As a dedicated Customer Account Representative within the law enforcement sector, your role will encompass a hybrid approach that includes:

  1. Direct engagement with law enforcement professionals – assisting in outfitting personnel with essential tactical equipment, including holsters, flashlights, boots, and tools, as well as measuring for body armor and uniforms, while ensuring a seamless checkout process.
  2. Management of law enforcement customer accounts and relationships – addressing inquiries and processing order requests through various communication channels.

This position necessitates a solid understanding of, or the capacity to learn about, the Emergency Responder Equipment market. Our product range includes uniforms, body armor, holsters, flashlights, boots, tools, and other tactical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for law enforcement clients, managing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates on product offerings.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all available products, including tactical gear, uniforms, and body armor.
  • Inform customers about the full range of product offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional face-to-face customer service, particularly in one-on-one interactions.
  • Assist customers in-store with sizing for uniforms, equipment, body armor, and related items.
  • Accurately generate, draft, and finalize Purchase Orders (P.O.'s) tailored to customer specifications.
  • Process customer P.O.'s efficiently via phone and email.
  • Handle a significant volume of order entries with speed and precision.
  • Continuously foster and maintain profitable relationships with clients.
  • Respond to incoming phone inquiries.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the showroom floor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the company's mission, values, and objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office, general software).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume data entry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in face-to-face customer service or account management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with law enforcement product offerings (uniforms, body armor, tactical gear).
  • 4+ years of experience in managing customer accounts.
  • 4+ years of experience in face-to-face customer service.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software (NetSuite or similar).
