Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Luke Health Services.

About the Role

This is a full-time LPN position working on a skilled nursing unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gerontology and experience in long-term care or similar settings.

You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing individualized care and support to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Administer medications, treatments, and perform vital signs as ordered by physicians.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Skill Development: Supervise and instruct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in performing resident care tasks.

The selected candidate will also participate in shift reports, medication administration, and unit cleaning, ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current L.P.N. licensed in the State of New York.
  • Experience: Previous experience in geriatrics or similar settings is preferred but not necessary.
