Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our residents.

This is a full-time position with a competitive estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing required record keeping for admitting, transferring, and discharging residents
  • Coordinating daily with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shifts' services and programs
  • Preparing and administering medications, reviewing medication cards for completeness and accuracy

You will also be responsible for reviewing resident care plans, developing and maintaining rapport with nursing staff, and participating in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
  • A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
