Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Architectural Project Leader to become a vital part of our Facilities Business Line and Architectural Practice.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to oversee a diverse range of project types and scales.

The office serves a variety of clients across public and private sectors, engaging in projects related to transportation, higher education, commercial/industrial, pharmaceutical, warehousing, and public works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation for assigned initiatives, including initial through final sheet setups on project drawings, schedules, plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.
  • Lead and motivate a small project team comprising architects and engineers to ensure successful project completion.
  • Manage project activities during construction, including submittal tasks, field inspections, RFIs, and supplemental work.
  • Gather and analyze code information for projects in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop presentations, designs, and technical solutions throughout all project phases.
  • Create conceptual designs and renderings for project and presentation purposes.
  • Assist in proposal preparation and client management.
  • Conduct building surveys and forensic investigations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Architect or eligibility to obtain registration within 6-12 months is preferred.
  • Proficiency in REVIT Building Information Modeling Architecture, with experience in design and construction documentation.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino/3D Max, or similar is advantageous.
  • Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with current International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in team settings and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Experience in specification writing/editing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey concepts and ideas through verbal, written, or visual mediums.
