Project Overview:
LanceSoft is embarking on a transformative initiative to implement a cutting-edge logistics planning and booking system that seamlessly integrates with SAP and third-party logistics (3PL) software. This project aims to enhance transportation and logistics management, elevate supply chain efficiency, and ensure the reliability of shipping and logistics providers while optimizing costs. The solution will involve integration with SAP utilizing Webmethods EAI integration, and will be rolled out globally in a phased approach. Collaboration with third-party Transportation Management System (TMS) providers, the ERP team, and functional business teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive integrated program schedule, collaborating with various stakeholders across business functions, IT groups, and solution partners to create a cohesive project timeline.
- During the planning phase, establish the project schedule, resource requirements, and facilitate detailed planning workshops.
- In the development, testing, and deployment phases, lead all aspects of project management to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct regular workgroup meetings to maintain project momentum and disseminate status reports.
- Perform traditional project management activities, including governance and communication, while managing multiple IT projects as needed.
- Exhibit strong governance, communication, planning, and integration management skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail to drive teams toward project objectives.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT project manager with a solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and transportation management.
- Broad knowledge of SAP and exposure to pharmaceutical supply chains.
- Strong leadership and presentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing projects involving third-party systems interfacing with SAP ERP or other major ERP systems is essential. Pharmaceutical supply chain experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated project management experience in implementing IT and digital capabilities within supply chain and logistics management.
- Familiarity with enterprise data lakes and EAI tools is advantageous.
- PMP certification is required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams to execute assigned projects aligned with the digital capability objectives of the business unit, delivering value incrementally.
- Oversee the planning and execution of small to medium-sized projects within the business unit's digital capability portfolio to achieve intended outcomes while adapting to evolving ideas and new requirements.
- Identify dependencies, assess risks, and communicate status updates to relevant management and stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables, timelines, and financials adhere to established standards and best practices.
- Periodically assess performance and develop action plans to meet performance goals.
- Monitor and control the schedule and financial health of assigned projects, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively address obstacles to maintain project momentum and engage the project teams.
- Plan and coordinate necessary resources across the organization to ensure successful project completion.
- Manage one to two vendors providing services to the projects, ensuring they meet execution milestones and budget estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive project status reports and documentation to keep project sponsors informed of progress and potential risks.
- Actively engage stakeholders in addressing challenges within projects to identify corrective actions.
- Co-lead the establishment of project management and governance structures in collaboration with IT Business Partners and Digital Capability Managers.
- Advise on and consistently apply project management best practices, including Agile, SDLC, and PMF, while continuously improving the adoption of these practices across IT.
- Support IT Business Partners and Digital Capability Managers in managing project financials, vendor relations, and procurement.
- Collaborate with IT Business Partners, Digital Capability Managers, and Portfolio Managers on business case development for digital capability investments, translating project management insights into improved estimates and outcomes.
