Job Title: Associate Director for Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director for Development to join our team at the University of Washington School of Law. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in advancing the school's mission and goals through strategic fundraising and relationship-building efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the school's academic programs, faculty, and students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major gift donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to secure significant gifts and support for the school.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities and partnerships.
  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors, with a focus on securing gifts of $50,000 or more.
  • Develop and implement effective stewardship and recognition strategies to ensure that donors feel valued and appreciated.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in development, with a proven track record of success in major gift fundraising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
