About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Managing Director of Energy Development. This key position will play a critical role in driving our energy services business forward, identifying and developing new opportunities, and leading our regional teams in pursuit of EaaS opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Position McKinstry's brand within identified vertical and geographical markets.
  • Lead and manage due diligence on all aspects of the development process, including entitlement, partnerships, environmental impact, and financial and technical feasibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, associations, organizations, and government entities at local, state, and national levels.
  • Support sales policies and monitor compliance for developments.
  • Represent McKinstry in client and investor meetings, and negotiate contracts.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, and leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue in the energy services industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
