Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Substation Engineering Manager to join our Kiewit Power Delivery team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our engineering design team, you will be responsible for managing department resources, providing timely feedback, and promoting personnel development.

About the Team

You will be part of our rapidly growing engineering design team serving several major utilities and T&D clients. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality results while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage project schedules and budgets while ensuring quality management and technical correctness.
  2. Grow and develop the Portland office engineering and design resources.
  3. Provide overall engineering/design technical leadership and expertise within the discipline.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with limited direction. A P.E. license and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited university are also required.
