About the Role
PacifiCorp is seeking an exceptional Chief Substation Engineering Manager to lead our substation standards team. This role is crucial in achieving corporate objectives and advancing the company's substation standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement technical solutions, engineering guidelines, and policies for substation design, construction, and maintenance.
• Create material specifications and construction standards for substation assets, integrating advanced technologies into the electric grid.
• Publish handbooks, requirement manuals, standards, and guidelines for engineering, design, constructability, and maintainability of substation assets.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in people management.
• Strong leadership skills, including directing and motivating individuals who may not be direct reports.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, Title V, etc) and applicable codes such as NESC, IEEE.

Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced degree.
• Professional Engineering Registration.
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills.

Compensation and Benefits
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $133,000-$156,500 and an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 20% of salary. PacifiCorp offers comprehensive benefits, including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
