Job Overview

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Engineering Standards Manager to lead our substation standards team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing technical solutions, engineering guidelines, and policies to drive reliability and efficiency of the electric grid.

The Senior Engineering Standards Manager will oversee and approve engineering standards activities supporting capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Additionally, they will coordinate with design engineering to incorporate changes and provide alternatives for capital projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions, engineering guidelines, and policies to drive reliability and efficiency of the electric grid.
  • Oversee and approve engineering standards activities supporting capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Coordinate with design engineering to incorporate changes and provide alternatives for capital projects.
  • Apply engineering and environmental principles to support substation operations, including technical studies, planning, and capital project implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in people management.
  • Management skills including the ability to establish objectives, execute policy, monitor resources, and manage the development or implementation of a system, program, or process.
Estimated Salary Range

$133,000-$156,500 per year.
