The ideal candidate will have a strong balance of technical, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to execute and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and track projects, and will be responsible for managing project backlogs, ensuring forward momentum, and developing roadmaps and resource plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop project plans, including application releases, data migrations, data center expansions, and site stability improvements.
- Define, scope, and track ancillary operations projects, including capacity planning, hardware procurement, and deployment.
- Manage and maintain project backlogs, ensuring forward momentum and developing roadmaps and resource plans.
- Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders, and collaborate with Director-level leadership on project execution and team efficiency.
- Assess and mitigate risk exposure, and lead efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish resolution paths.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-time program management experience within an Infra organization.
- 4+ years of infrastructure experience, including server, storage, network, and data center discovery, design, build, and migration.
- 6+ months of experience in Agile and Waterfall methodology.
- B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong practical understanding of managing the life-cycle of large-scale programs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to cross-functional and cross-organizational communication.
- Experience with software engineering practices and familiarity with coding techniques.
- Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization.
- Ability to successfully drive programs by creating strategic roadmaps and tactical execution plans.
