About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SoC Technical Program Manager to join our Hardware Compute Group at Amazon Services LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with product managers, engineering managers, and architects to manage programs for SoC and Organic IP development
  • Create delivery plans and schedules, track deliverables, and Jira indicators for Silicon blocks and IP
  • Manage and report on project status, risk reviews from project approval through production
  • Bring together technical experts and engineering resource owners to drive resolution of issues and unblock progress
  • Work with product and other program management leads to ensure that SoC development meets schedule, cost, and KPIs
  • Conduct weekly product readiness reviews with stakeholders along with risk reviews
  • Build relationships with design service providers and communicate/exchange roadmap development
  • Work with legal, operations teams, and engineering teams to negotiate and close contracts efficiently – time, resource, and money
About the Team

At Hardware Compute Group, we build a gamut of computing and machine learning technologies - from immersive multi-media experience at home to innovative mobility solutions for robotics. We delivered the Neural Processors AZ1 and AZ2 and we are just getting started.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
