About the Role:

U-Haul is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their queries and concerns.
  • Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Answer questions and educate customers on products and services, promoting U-Haul's offerings.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.
  • Fulfill propane and drive a forklift, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date on products and services.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
