Supervisor of Sterile Supply Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our team at OU Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing, storage, and distribution of sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the central sterile processing team, ensuring efficient and effective processing of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of sterile supply services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of sterile supply services with other hospital operations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of sterile supply inventory, usage, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to sterile supply services.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on sterile supply procedures and protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members to improve performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in sterile processing, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Certification in sterile processing, such as CSPDT or CRCST, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members, physicians, and other hospital departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Secondary leadership certification, such as CHL or Certified in Sterile Processing Management.
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and hospital policies related to sterile supply services.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff members, physicians, and other hospital departments.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
