Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with accounting management to prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist the accounts payable and receivable departments with payments, deposits, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform full cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, month-end close, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and other related tasks.
- Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts, and assigning account numbers.
- Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.
- Process monthly sales tax returns and maintain cash position forecasting model.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting and financial management practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
