Title: Client Engagement Specialist

Department: Resident Relations

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $20-$23/hr, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

The Client Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in professionally addressing inquiries from current, former, and prospective residents. This role collaborates closely with fellow team members in the Resident Relations Department and other Operational Departments to uphold exceptional customer service standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and various communications from tenants
  • Preparing and distributing essential letters and notices to tenants
  • Conducting property and unit tours for potential tenants
  • Organizing community events
  • Maintaining a consistent presence at site offices, adhering to a structured schedule
  • Receiving, documenting, and following up on maintenance requests submitted by tenants
  • Referring complex tenant issues to Resident Relations Generalists and Specialists
  • Assisting tenants in understanding and utilizing provided technologies
  • Supporting the planning and execution of community events, including National Night Out
  • Adhering to all Federal, State, and local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances
  • Providing backup or additional support for other members of the Resident Relations Department as necessary
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or office administration
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to maintain a positive, customer-centric attitude
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
