Position: Metal Fabrication Specialist – Direct Hire
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time Metal Fabrication Specialist role. This organization is expanding and is focused on delivering outstanding service while ensuring high-quality production. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team member who can enhance the overall performance of the company.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ascertain the requirements for metal fabrication.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape stainless steel sheets, plates, and pipes utilizing various tools and machinery.
- Assemble and weld metal components to create structures and machinery.
- Install fabricated stainless-steel components and systems adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing stainless-steel equipment and structures.
- Ensure all installations comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Inspect and test fabricated components to confirm they meet specified tolerances and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and resolve any defects or issues in the fabrication process.
- Maintain precise records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Demonstrated experience in stainless steel metal fabrication, ideally within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
- Proficient in welding (TIG, MIG), cutting, grinding, and other metalworking techniques.
- Strong understanding of stainless-steel properties and metal fabrication methods.
- Skilled in using fabrication tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and compliance regulations related to food processing.
Starting pay at $25+/hr, based on experience.
