Position Overview:

The Administrative Support Specialist plays a vital role in overseeing the general administrative functions within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, assisting in various reporting processes, and supporting the establishment of effective internal controls. The specialist will collaborate with a diverse team, contribute to audits, and engage with cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform essential administrative tasks to maintain precise records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
  • Assist in closing processes at the end of financial periods.
  • Support the implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Enforce compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for employment without sponsorship.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in administrative support.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and accounting systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and teleconferencing tools.
