Position Overview:

The Finance Transformation Office (FTO) is in search of a Lead Engineer specializing in Quantitative Finance Solutions. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including model re-engineering, data management, process innovation, workflow automation, and comprehensive reporting.

The FTO is dedicated to advancing the technology and tool strategies across the Finance organization, while prioritizing and executing essential modernization initiatives such as automation, analytics, agile transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize expertise in Balance Sheet & Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity, and Capital to tackle intricate process re-engineering challenges.
  • Build and nurture relationships to spearhead high-impact transformation projects with partners across CFO, Technology, and Governance.
  • Design and execute holistic solutions aimed at enhancing business processes through model automation.
  • Assess the potential of modern technologies to address significant business challenges.
  • Develop prototypes or proof of concepts to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions for business stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative model solutions or operations, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with core forecasting processes, including balance sheet and NII, interest rate risk, liquidity stress testing, and capital stress testing.
  • Experience leading transformation or process re-engineering projects within the banking or financial services sectors.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Automation tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Alteryx.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and tools for data analysis and modeling, including SQL, Python, SAS, and R.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, engineering, or physics.
  • Strong understanding of process design, databases, financial modeling, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • This role supports a hybrid work arrangement.

The compensation range for this position is reflective of the base pay offered. Pay may vary based on factors such as achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range provided is one aspect of the overall compensation package available to candidates.
