Housekeeper - Day Shift / Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Asbury RiverWoods. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, and other areas as directed.
  • Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
  • Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
  • Perform isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • 6 months of practical housekeeping/janitorial experience.
  • Ability to work safely with cleaning agents and perform required duties.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to follow oral and written instruction.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift objects repeatedly; must be able to lift 25lbs unassisted throughout the shift.

Working Hours

7am to 3:30pm with every other weekend rotation

40 hours per week
