The Mail Inserting Machine Operator is tasked with the setup, operation, and maintenance of mail-inserting machinery to guarantee the precise and timely processing of mail items. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to deadlines, and the capability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate mail-inserting machines for various mail types, ensuring correct loading of materials and adherence to job specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of finished mail items to ensure compliance with company and client standards, correcting any discrepancies.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and promptly diagnose mechanical issues, collaborating with maintenance personnel as necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine output and maintenance activities, reporting production data to supervisors.
