Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Packaging Corporation of America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Work with a sense of urgency to respond to machine downtime events
- Complete in-house training programs to develop equipment-specific maintenance skills
- Attend external training as required
- At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge and experience with repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Technical degree and/or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment
- Competitive pay range from $26.31 to $35.98 based on skills and experience
- Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K plan
- 1.5 pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours
- 1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays
- Uniforms provided
- Up to 100 paid training hours annually for technicians to advance through the progressive skill levels
- Stipend for safety shoes, safety glasses, and tools
