Role Responsibilities:
As an Operations Area Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring your team efficiently processes customer orders on time. You will have the chance to invest in your team and cultivate a collaborative leadership approach while leveraging the tools and processes that have established Amazon as the most customer-centric organization globally.

Understanding Fulfillment:
Fulfillment refers to the process of completing a customer's order, which includes picking, packing, shipping, and delivering their orders to meet or exceed expectations. Our operational workflow consists of three primary stages:
1. First Mile - where products are stored and ready for orders.
2. Second Mile - where orders are transported to your area.
3. Last Mile - where products are delivered to customers' doors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, manage, and develop a team of Amazon associates.
- Communicate policies to your team and serve as the primary information source, ensuring compliance and consistency while taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Create and support recognition programs.
- Uphold all safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a secure work environment for all associates.
- Ensure adherence to building security and product loss prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
- Develop performance goals and targets to meet customer demand while ensuring accuracy and quality.

Job Requirements:
Must be capable of performing the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours).
- Access all areas of the building safely, including ladders, stairs, gangways, and shipping docks.
- Walk throughout the warehouse frequently; many facilities exceed a quarter mile in length.
- Willingness to work various shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach above and below the waist.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 49 pounds.

A Day in the Life:
As an Operations Area Supervisor, you will lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates in a distribution warehouse setting. Your primary focus will be on motivating, mentoring, and managing your team to achieve targeted goals. As a people manager, you will ensure that your team has the necessary tools to succeed while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and attendance performance.

Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree with all requirements completed prior to your start date.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in analyzing data to provide effective business solutions.
- Proven track record of ownership and driving results.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Interest in advancing in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or large team management.
