Commodity Product Manager

Boise Cascade Company is seeking a highly skilled Commodity Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for setting product lines, selecting vendors, and monitoring performance to support our location sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set product lines and select vendors to meet sales goals
- Monitor performance and negotiate with vendors to obtain favorable terms, prices, and promotional support
- Develop and maintain knowledge of products, production processes, industry trends, and competitor analysis
- Facilitate direct buys and delivery between customers and suppliers
- Evaluate monthly reports to optimize product line performance and contribution
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion
- Preferred qualifications include three to five years of experience in a related field, lumber trader and panel experience, and previous experience in purchasing and sales or general line product management
