Quality Technician Role

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our client in Westfield, MA. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for in-process inspection and test verification for Quality and Food Packaging Safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various quality tests on products using appropriate measuring tools and equipment.
  • Identify and investigate quality-related issues on the production floor, working with production teams to resolve problems promptly.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Document, sample, and quarantine products as needed.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with quality management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle repetitive motions.
  • Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the packaging industry.
  • Strong math skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Compensation:

$20.00-$25.00/hour
