We are seeking a Claims Consultant to become a vital part of our Property & Casualty division. This position will deliver exceptional claims management, advocacy, and analytical support to our clients and internal teams, aligning with our corporate vision and mission.

Familiarity with agency management systems and a solid grounding in insurance risk management, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust relationships with clients to understand their business, risks, and exposures.
  • Assist clients in accurately determining coverage needs.
  • Collaborate closely with Producers, Insurance, and Safety teams to identify and address clients' claims management requirements.
  • Facilitate and engage in regular claims reviews with clients and carriers/TPAs as permitted.
  • Examine claims data to identify loss trends and support loss prevention efforts while educating clients on the claims process.
  • Ensure effective communication of loss information to clients and carriers/TPAs.
  • Oversee the timely delivery and coordination of claims management services.
  • Support the marketing and placement of business based on clients' claims requirements.
  • Proactively identify strategic resolutions for claims and collaborate with adjusters and legal counsel to implement action plans.
  • Manage essential relationships with insurers, TPAs, adjusters, and safety professionals.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients or transitioning clients' insurance partners.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Certifications: Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license or the ability to obtain one within three months of hire. AIC/CPCU/CRIS or other relevant insurance certifications are preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years in the insurance industry is required; knowledge of the construction industry is preferred, and multi-line experience is a plus.
