Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Management Lead to oversee daily cycle counts, troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, and collaborate with the Manufacturing and Shipping teams to resolve issues.

This role requires exceptional accuracy, strong mathematical abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the seamless flow of materials, supplies, and products across the facility.

The ideal candidate will contribute to improving current processes, assist with periodic inventory audits, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistent stock levels by accurately tracking inventory movements.
  • Keep precise daily records of goods received and shipments completed.
  • Oversee and manage inventory systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and facilitating any software or database updates as directed by inventory control management.
  • Delegate tasks efficiently to team members and manage workload distribution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory-related activities.
  • Supervise all activities related to ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supplies, and products.
  • Conduct spot checks and regular audits of physical inventory.
  • Assist in annual physical inventory audits and forecasting future inventory needs.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced inventory personnel.
  • Operate a forklift as needed for inventory management and material movement.
  • Perform additional duties as requested to support inventory control operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Valid forklift operator's license and valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in computer software, including word processors, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform basic calculations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control and quality control principles.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to health and safety standards, including using protective gear as required.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for improving efficiency and resolving inventory-related issues.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods (9-hour shifts), performing tasks that require frequent grasping, reaching, twisting, and pivoting.
  • Capable of occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for reading instructions and inspecting products.
  • Regular stretching and reaching with both arms as part of daily activities.
  • Work environment noise levels are typically moderate.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
